History of our club

2017 – We played our first flag football match in October 2017. It was part of surprise birthday party for one of our members. We played with home-made flags in Sad Janka Kráľa and here it all began.

2018 – During summer we played several times, we bought flag football set /really basic one/ and tried to find some new players.

2019 – After winter we started to play every Wednesday in Park Janka Kráľa. We met some of our new teammates with football experience, made first playbooks, but after summer we had to have long off-season.

2020 – This year we played our first matches at MVK /Viktor Kincel Memorial/ in Nitra. Name „Sadisti Janka Kráľa“ was born. We wanted to continue to play during winter, but COVID-19 stopped us.

2021– We competed in two tournaments, MVK /2nd place/ and Beach flag /3rd place/. But most important thing was, that we moved from Sad Janka Kráľa to artificial grass and kept playing during the winter.

2022 – BREAKTHROUGH YEAR: Official team Istropolis Invincibles was founded, first time we played in Slovak Flag Football League and ended in second place. We build two teams for Beach flag tournament and earned first medal /bronze/

2023 – TRIPLE CHAMPS: We played our first international tournaments in Germany, Austria and Czechia. Our players participated as part of National team in Ireland. We won Slovak League, Beach flag tournament and Slovak Cup.

Our numbers are rising, so are our spirits and we are looking forward for our future fights.
